Dr. Gandhi completed a three-year Urogynecology fellowship after his Gynecology and Obstetrics residency at Prentice Women’s Hospital at Northwestern University. During his fellowship, Dr. Gandhi presented research at international conferences and today, he continues to teach residents. He takes pride in empowering his team members to take ownership of delivering the highest quality care with kindness.
Dr. Gandhi and his team provide the latest surgical and non-surgical treatments for pelvic floor disorders and for “vaginal rejuvenation.”
To promote Urogynecology in India, Dr. Gandhi founded the Pelvic Health Institute in 2012 one of only a handful of Urogynecology centers in India. He cofounded the Urogynecology & Pelvic Health Institute (UPHI) in 2014 with Dr. Aparna Hegde which at the time became a sub-specialized center for pelvic floor disorders and Urogynecology in India. UPHI now provides specialized surgical care across a spectrum of medical specialties (https://www.uphi.in).
In 2015, Dr. Gandhi was among the first doctors in the US to launch the MonaLisa Touch treatment for vaginal atrophy. Recently he has added new body sculpting technologies (truSculpt and EMSCULPT) to provide women the best treatments for non-surgical body rejuvenation.
Dr. Gandhi recently partnered with his wife, Board Certified dermatologist, Dr. Kavitha Gandhi (https://www.lakeshorederm.com), to open The Sculped Body (https://www.sculpedbody.com/home) to bring these treatments to their patients.
Dr. Gandhi continues to enjoy downhill skiing and classical piano and recently started learning how to play squash. He takes an active role in his children’s lives and enjoys time with them traveling or just “hanging out.”
