Her focus of practice is in the field of urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstruction surgery. She offers specialty surgical and non-surgical treatment for women with pelvic floor issues including urinary incontinence or leakage, fecal incontinence, urinary tract infections, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, trouble emptying the bladder or rectum, pelvic and bladder pain and fistulas.
A native of Lebanon, Ind., Dr. Parden earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, where she also completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. She recently completed a three-year fellowship (additional specialty surgical training) in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.
