Daniel R. Winkelman, M.D., F ACOG is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He has been practicing medicine since 1991. Dr. Winkelman graduated from Augustana University with a B.S. in Biology, 1987. He continued with his medical school education at Rush Medical School, receiving his Medical Degree in 1991. Dr. Winkelman completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Hospital, Chicago in 1995.
Dr. Winkelman specializes in advance laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Winkelman has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loyola University Medical Center since 2000, teaching Residents skills in both an office setting and in the operating room.
In additional to his surgical skills, Dr. Winkelman is a highly trained Obstetrician who treats patients in all stages of their reproductive years and after, including basic infertility, preconceptual counseling, prenatal/postpartum care and has delivered over 2500 babies in his career. In his spare time, Dr. Winkelman enjoys time with his family. He is an avid sports fan and attends as many Chicago Bears games as he can in the season.
