Dr. Ellington is board-certified in both Obstetrics-Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He earned his bachelor of science degree at University of Virginia before obtaining his medical degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine followed by sub-specialty fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS).
Dr. Ellington currently serves as the FPMRS Fellowship Director at UAB and as the Alabama ACOG Section Chair. He is dedicated to serving patients suffering from pelvic floor disorders with advanced care in non-surgical methods, minimally invasive surgery, and complex surgical cases.
