After graduating from Cornell University with honors in English literature, I completed medical school near my Michigan home at Wayne State University. I went on to complete residency training in obstetrics and gynecology in Cleveland, OH at the MetroHealth / Cleveland Clinic combined program, and I did my fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Hartford Hospital at the UConn Health program. I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. I have been practicing in academic medicine in the Chgicagoland area since 2011.
